Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Denmark is seeking a Senior Design Engineer to design and develop connector and cable assembly products. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of mechanical design experience, particularly with connectors or cable assemblies, along with strong proficiency in SolidWorks. Responsibilities include leading design efforts, providing technical support, and mentoring junior engineers. This role requires an ability to travel for customer and supplier site visits, contributing to a collaborative engineering environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of mechanical design experience, preferably with connectors or cable assemblies.
• Strong proficiency in SolidWorks and experience with polymers and plastic materials.
• Ability to meet ITAR requirements of US citizenship or US permanent resident status.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new connector and cable assembly products.
• Generate 3D models and detailed drawings using SolidWorks.
• Guide and mentor junior engineers and designers on best practices.
