Job summary

Arla is seeking an Experienced Data Engineer for Innovation and Consumers, based in Aarhus or Gdansk. You will build data-driven solutions on a cloud data platform using Databricks, PySpark, SQL and Power BI.

You will translate business needs into scalable, maintainable data pipelines, collaborate with stakeholders, and help advance modern lakehouse architectures while embracing AI-driven approaches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT/engineering.
• 3-5 years of experience in Data Warehouse/BI/SQL/Data Engineering.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Experience with Spark in Databricks and SQL/PySpark.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines and data models supporting business needs.
• Build scalable ETL/ELT processes and promote data engineering best practices.
• Improve existing solutions and development processes.
• Work with developers, architects, IT and business stakeholders to deliver reliable solutions.
• Contribute to modern cloud-based data platforms and applications.
