Job summary

Novo Nordisk seeks a Senior Data Engineer & BI Professional in Måløv, Denmark, for a 12-month temporary position. You will design scalable data products on Databricks and shape a modern, AI-enabled BI approach to support clinical supplies across 50+ countries.

Applicants should have a master's in a related field, hands-on Databricks, Python, PySpark and SQL, plus cloud experience (Azure/AWS/GCP).

Qualifications

Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science or a related field.
Professional experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, BI or software engineering with a data focus.
Strong hands-on experience with Databricks.
Experience with Python, PySpark and SQL.
Experience designing scalable data pipelines, data models and analytical solutions.
Experience with modern BI and analytics.
Experience working in cloud environments such as Azure, AWS or GCP.
Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Responsibilities

Design and build scalable data pipelines, data products and models on Databricks.
Define and establish the future BI architecture on Databricks.
Drive transition from Alteryx, Power BI and Tableau towards Databricks-based analytics.
Translate business needs into scalable BI solutions.
Explore and implement AI-enabled BI capabilities and intelligent insights.
Contribute to modern standards across data engineering, BI, governance and development.
