Job summary

Google is seeking a Facilities Manager to join the Data Center team in Denmark. The role focuses on operating highly sophisticated electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems, with daily duties ranging from inspection and maintenance to reading blueprints and supporting senior technicians.

You will drive cost-conscious operations, ensure safety standards, and help minimize recovery time during outages. The AI and Infrastructure teams back groundbreaking AI and cloud initiatives globally.

Qualifications

9 years of experience in critical facilities management, including facility, technical and team management.
Experience as a Facilities Manager or Chief Engineer within a critical facility.
Experience managing mission critical facilities portfolio.
Experience collaborating with other business units to meet company goals and standards.
Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems in a data center environment.
Excellent people management and leadership skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.

Responsibilities

Plan and manage campus operational budgets and expense forecasting.
Set strategy and plan deployments across multiple sites.
Lead efforts to integrate Google-wide strategy and execution with internal and external partners.
Create strategy for cost-effective operations focused on total cost of ownership.
Demonstrate critical thinking and innovation in data center operations and outages.
