Job description

Are you at your best when combining technical expertise with customer engagement?

We’re partnering with a specialist data consultancy looking to add a Senior Data & BI Architect to their growing Copenhagen team. This is a role for someone who enjoys designing modern data solutions, working closely with customers, and taking ownership of successful project delivery from start to finish.

You’ll become a trusted advisor to clients, helping them transform data into actionable insights while guiding the technical direction of projects built on Microsoft’s modern data stack.

Rather than focusing solely on development, you’ll play a key role in shaping solutions, influencing stakeholders, and ensuring customers realise tangible business value from their data investments.

This position offers a unique mix of hands‑on technical work and customer‑facing leadership, giving you the opportunity to remain close to technology while becoming a central figure in the success of client engagements.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Senior Data & BI Architect, you’ll work closely with both customers and internal specialists to deliver scalable, high‑quality data and analytics solutions.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading client projects from discovery and design through to implementation and ongoing optimisation.
  • Translating business challenges into effective BI and data strategies.
  • Designing modern analytics architectures using technologies such as Microsoft Fabric, Azure, Databricks, and Power BI.
  • Building and reviewing data models, semantic layers, and reporting solutions.
  • Acting as a trusted point of contact for customers, providing guidance on priorities, roadmaps, and future opportunities.
  • Coordinating project activities, delivery timelines, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Ensuring solutions adhere to best practices across architecture, governance, scalability, and performance.
  • Supporting pre‑sales discussions and identifying opportunities to extend client partnerships.
  • Collaborating with consultants and developers to drive successful project outcomes.
  • Contributing to knowledge sharing and technical excellence across the wider team.

The role is split between technical architecture and solution delivery, providing the perfect balance for professionals who enjoy both hands‑on work and strategic responsibility.

What We’re Looking For

We’re interested in speaking with experienced BI and data professionals who can confidently bridge the gap between technology and business objectives.

You’ll likely bring experience in:

  • Microsoft BI technologies including Power BI, Azure, SQL Server, and Microsoft Fabric.
  • Designing and implementing cloud‑based data platforms.
  • Databricks, lakehouse architectures, or modern data warehousing approaches.
  • End‑to‑end analytics solutions covering data ingestion, transformation, modelling, and visualisation.
  • Leading customer engagements and managing stakeholder relationships.
  • Delivery ownership and project coordination without direct people management responsibilities.
  • Identifying commercial opportunities and helping customers maximise the value of their data initiatives.
You’ll Also Have
  • Strong communication and consulting skills.
  • A structured and proactive approach to delivery.
  • The ability to engage with both technical and business audiences.
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
  • Fluency in Danish and English.
Why Join?

This is an opportunity to join a highly respected specialist consultancy where expertise and customer outcomes are valued above billable‑hour targets.

You’ll benefit from:

  • Significant influence over projects and technical direction.
  • Close collaboration with experienced data leaders.
  • High levels of autonomy and trust.
  • A strong culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
  • Access to some of the most exciting Microsoft data platform projects in the market.
  • A collaborative environment focused on long‑term customer partnerships rather than short‑term engagements.
  • Clear opportunities to expand your technical and consulting responsibilities as the business grows.

If you’re looking for a role where you can combine architecture, customer engagement, and technical delivery while helping organisations unlock the value of their data, we’d love to hear from you.
