Job summary

Scandinavian Tobacco Group (STG) seeks a Senior Data Analyst to bridge Finance, Sales, and Operations with SAP reporting responsibilities. You will define reporting requirements, optimize SQL queries, and collaborate with Data & Insights to improve data quality and processes.

The role is permanent and full-time, based in the region, with a base salary of 45,000 to 50,000 DKK monthly and incentives based on performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data/analyst role, ideally in retail or consumer business.
• Strong SQL skills and ability to troubleshoot complex queries.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data modeling).
• Familiarity with SAP FI and SD modules.
• Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) or willingness to learn.
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field.
• Proven experience gathering requirements from business stakeholders.
• Strong stakeholder management and alignment across functions.
• Ability to operate amid ambiguity with a structured plan.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate into data requirements.
• Work with data engineers to scope, request, and validate SAP data.
• Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and consolidate data.
• Build and maintain Excel-based models, trackers, and reports.
• Consolidate data into stakeholder-ready reports and checks.
• Define data definitions and ensure auditable reporting month over month.
• Identify data quality issues with SAP module owners and data engineers.
• Continuously streamline processes to avoid repetitive manual work.
