Would you like to join one of the fastest-growing organizations within Amazon Web Services (AWS) and help our largest enterprise customers maximize the value and benefits of AWS Services?
As a Senior Cloud Operations Architect (or TAM) in the AWS Enterprise Support, Enterprise segment team, you will have a direct impact in helping our customers gain the most value from cloud technology. TAMs actively engage at the account level, providing recommendations and proactive advice throughout the entire cloud adoption life cycle.
The Senior Cloud Operations Architect is the customer's trusted advisor and operational excellence expert for our Enterprise Support customers. The close relationships developed with your customers across all levels of their business will allow you to understand their business and operational needs and technical challenges, and help them achieve the greatest value from cloud technologies. You will provide advocacy and strategic technical guidance to help plan and build solutions using best practices, and proactively keep your customers' AWS environments operationally healthy.
As a Senior Cloud Operations Architect, you'll craft and execute strategies with senior customer stakeholders up to C-level to drive our customers' adoption and use of AWS services. This support extends to addressing strategy-related queries, aiding in project and launch planning, and resolving operational challenges. You will work with large customer engineering organizations and advise management on complex cloud architecture decisions.
This is a post-sales advisory role within our Enterprise Support team, where you can further develop your technical, leadership, and consulting skills while working with organizations facing sophisticated operational challenges across the Nordics region. You'll leverage best practices, including the AWS Well-Architected Framework, AWS Trusted Advisor, and operational reviews to help customers maximize the value they derive from AWS.
The AWS Enterprise Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Enterprise Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.
AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector and other regulated industries. Join us in helping customers build operationally excellent cloud environments that enable innovation while optimizing performance, security, and cost.
In this role, you'll leverage your extensive technical knowledge to ensure our customers' cloud environments are secure, resilient, and optimized on the AWS platform. As a trusted advisor, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring customer success as they navigate complex cloud transformations.
Your day might include leading an architectural review with a customer's engineering leadership to plan a critical migration, followed by a proactive risk assessment using AWS Trusted Advisor and Health dashboards. You'll guide customers through trade-off decisions between performance, cost, and resilience, and help them implement best practices at scale.
You will develop and deliver enablement sessions, such as Well-Architected workshops, Game Days, and Immersion Days, to build customer capability. When critical incidents occur, you'll act as the escalation point and coordinate with AWS service teams to drive rapid resolution while minimizing business impact.
Throughout it all, you'll balance strategic advisory work with tactical execution, building deep trust and delivering measurable outcomes for your customers across the Nordics enterprise landscape.
