Job summary

Ascendis Pharma is seeking a Senior Clinical Scientist to lead design, monitoring, and analysis of clinical trials in Endocrine & Rare Diseases. You will report to the VP of Clinical Science and be based in Hellerup with the Danish team, coordinating across time zones and traveling as needed.

You will contribute to regulatory submissions, study reports, and cross-functional collaborations while maintaining high ethical standards and scientific rigor in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree (cand.pharm/MSc in Pharmacy) or equivalent.
• Strong track record of scientific and clinical inquiry.
• Knowledge of statistics and clinical trial design.

Responsibilities

• Design, provide oversight, and support site and subject retention in trials.
• Ensure documents (protocols, brochures, monitoring plans, reports) are completed with cross-functional teams.
• Participate in study teams and cross-functional collaborations as needed.
• Ensure consistent language across endocrine projects and maintain study integrity.
• Monitor accumulating safety and efficacy data and interpret results.
• Draft and review clinical documents, manuscripts, and regulatory submissions.
• Stay updated on science, GCP, and regulatory guidance, collaborating across functions.
• Build relationships with investigative sites and key opinion leaders for the company.
• Complete tasks thoroughly, accurately, and on time while upholding ethics.
