Meet Life Sciences Ltd. is seeking a Senior Clinical Research Scientist to lead oncology/haematology trials and collaborate with Medical Directors and senior scientists across trial execution, data review, and regulatory documentation.

The role requires hands‑on clinical trial experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a cross‑functional, matrixed environment within a contract setting.

Qualifications

• PhD, PharmD, Master’s or equivalent within a medical, biological, pharmaceutical or related discipline.
• 6+ years’ clinical research experience.
• 3+ years’ drug development experience.
• Previous oncology and/or haematology drug development experience is highly desirable.
• Strong hands‑on clinical trial and clinical data review experience.
• Comfortable working within cross‑functional, matrixed teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead or co‑lead clinical trials within a development programme.
• Support trial execution in line with the Clinical Development Plan.
• Contribute to protocols and key study/regulatory documents.
• Support the development of eCRFs and eCRF completion guidelines.
• Contribute to Medical Data Review Plans (MDRPs) and perform ongoing clinical data review.
• Review and summarise efficacy and safety data.
• Support database lock activities and key Data Management deliverables.
• Work closely with Medical Directors, Clinical Operations, Data Management, CROs and wider cross‑functional teams.
• Support feasibility/site selection and interactions with KOLs.
• Support investigator meetings, SIVs and CRO/CRA training.
• Contribute to internal and external committees including DMC, Steering and Safety Committees.

Senior Clinical Research Scientist - Oncology/Haematology - Contract

I’m currently supporting a global biotechnology company looking to bring on an experienced Senior Clinical Research Scientist to support their Clinical Development team.

This is a hands‑on position working closely with Medical Directors and senior Clinical Scientists across the execution of clinical trials, with involvement across clinical data review, study documents, eCRFs and database lock activities.

Key responsibilities:
