Job summary

Novo Nordisk is seeking a Senior Outsourcing Professional to drive the clinical outsourcing process across its portfolio from RFP to contract signing. The role collaborates with Global Trial Portfolio, Corporate Procurement, Legal and external suppliers, located at the Søborg, Denmark site.

The role focuses on planning, supplier management, and integration of outsourcing strategy into development projects, with an emphasis on international collaboration and rigorous process execution.

Qualifications

• A minimum of five years of work experience with good results.
• Experience in sourcing or a role closely related to vendor management within the pharmaceutical or clinical research industry.
• Skills in supplier interactions and an understanding of clinical development disciplines.
• Attention to detail and an interest in improving or simplifying processes.
• Experience of working as a team player in international and diverse professional groups, together with a strong interest in business perspectives.

Responsibilities

• Planning and driving the request for proposal process.
• Providing operational support for clinical outsourcing activities.
• Managing supplier relationships and supporting effective collaboration with external suppliers.
• Acting as the first point of contact for supplier issues and escalations.
• Contributing to the integration of the clinical outsourcing strategy into development projects.
