Job summary

Korn Ferry Group is seeking an experienced Senior Cleaning Validation / CIP Specialist to support projects in regulated manufacturing environments. The role requires deep CIP expertise and hands-on ownership on site.

You will collaborate with QA, Engineering and Production to develop, validate, troubleshoot and optimise cleaning processes, and to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Fluent English is required; Denmark-based candidates are welcome.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of dedicated CIP experience.
• Strong experience in cleaning validation and CIP systems.
• Experience within pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, food manufacturing or medical devices.
• Practical knowledge of applicable regulatory and validation requirements.
• Experience performing cleaning risk assessments and MACO calculations.
• Experience with riboflavin testing and spray-coverage assessments.
• Strong qualification and validation documentation experience.
• Ability to independently prepare protocols, reports and technical documentation.
• Experience investigating deviations and troubleshooting cleaning-related issues.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• A degree or relevant educational background in Engineering, Pharmacy, Biotechnology or a related discipline.

The opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Cleaning Validation / CIP Specialist to support challenging projects within pharmaceutical, biotechnology and other regulated manufacturing environments.

This is a senior, hands-on position for someone with deep Clean-in-Place (CIP) expertise who is comfortable taking ownership of technical challenges, working independently on site and delivering practical solutions.

You will work closely with Quality Assurance, Engineering and Production teams to develop, validate, troubleshoot and optimise cleaning processes and CIP systems.

Your responsibilities:

Depending on the assignment, your responsibilities will include:

• Developing and implementing cleaning validation strategies
• Planning and executing cleaning validation activities
• Performing cleaning risk assessments
• Calculating Maximum Allowable Carryover (MACO) and establishing acceptance criteria
• Defining CIP system requirements and supporting system design
• Planning and conducting riboflavin spray-coverage testing
• Performing visual inspections and equipment assessments
• Preparing and executing validation and qualification documentation, including IQ, OQ and PQ protocols and reports
• Investigating deviations and performing root-cause analysis
