Job summary

John Sisk & Son Ltd. is seeking a Senior Civils Engineer to lead the Civil Engineering function on a Denmark-based Data Centre project. You will act as a senior representative, coordinate with the line manager, and drive engineering leadership for multiple project elements.

You will define the strategy for setting out, onsite control, and temporary works coordination, while ensuring QA, record-keeping and adherence to Sisk Quality procedures. Experience on large, complex projects is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/B.Eng in Civil Engineering required or equivalent.
• Temporary Works Coordinator training or equivalent certification.
• Lifting operations awareness and related safety training.
• A61 CPCS Lifting qualification or equivalent.
• Operations Appointed Persons course or equivalent.
• Scaffold awareness/inspection training.
• Experience with planning and programming software.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering leadership for the project(s) and coordinate with line management.
• Set strategy for engineering setting out and onsite control.
• Coordinate with engineers and supply chain to ensure QA and record keeping align with Sisk procedures.
• Manage temporary works coordination and lifting operations as required.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and tolerances for structural elements.
• Review and produce method statements and risk assessments as needed.
• Maintain close oversight of non-conformances and NCR closure costs.
• Utilise digital information systems (A-Site, Viewpoint) for project controls.
