Job summary

The LEGO Group is seeking a Senior CAE Engineer - Advanced Engineering to deliver high-quality CAE simulations that strengthen mould development and drive a more data-driven engineering organisation. You will work within the CAE Simulation team, combining simulation expertise with data insights and execution to produce clear outcomes that boost quality and productivity.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 3 years in a high-performing engineering environment.
  • CAE simulations that informed engineering decisions.
  • Applied analytics to interpret data and translate findings into recommendations.
  • Structured root cause analysis to solve technical challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver simulation requests with quality and agreed timelines.
  • Guide stakeholders on simulation capabilities and how they support objectives.
  • Improve moulding quality via simulation-driven recommendations and automation opportunities.
  • Support standardisation of simulation processes, docs, and ways of working.
  • Collaborate with simulation specialists and stakeholders across the value chain on customer-facing solutions.
  • Expand use of simulation tools across the organisation through capability building.

About the role

As our Senior CAE Engineer - Advanced Engineering, you'll deliver high-quality Computer Aided Engineering simulations that strengthen element and mould development while helping shape a more data-driven engineering organisation. Working within the CAE Simulation team, you'll combine simulation expertise, data insights, and operational delivery to create clear outcomes that improve quality, consistency, and engineering productivity across the LEGO Group.

Required Qualifications
  • Earned a bachelor's degree in engineering, such as mechanical, industrial, materials, or a related discipline, or gained equivalent practical experience
  • Built at least 3 years of experience within a high-performing engineering environment
  • Delivered Computer Aided Engineering simulation work that supported engineering decisions and technical outcomes
  • Applied analytical techniques to interpret data and translate findings into actionable recommendations
  • Solved technical challenges through structured root cause analysis and practical solutions
  • Demonstrated fluent written and spoken English in a professional setting
Preferred Qualifications
  • Applied injection moulding simulation within product, element, or manufacturing development
  • Worked with polymer materials and their engineering applications
  • Supported technical change management initiatives and process adoption
