Your Role
You’ll work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders across Operations, Engineering, Planning, and Quality, acting as a key operational interface. The role combines day‑to‑day purchasing execution with responsibility for supplier performance, delivery reliability, cost optimization, and continuous improvement of procurement processes.
Electronics and EMS are key focus areas, but you will also support additional technical procurement categories as required to ensure stable operations.
Your tasks include:
- Executing day‑to‑day purchasing activities across electronics, EMS, and assigned hardware categories
- Placing purchase orders, managing confirmations, and following up on deliveries
- Coordinating operational interaction with EMS partners and critical component suppliers
- Supporting sourcing, supplier evaluations, negotiations, and cost optimization initiatives
- Maintaining procurement contracts, documentation, and high‑quality data in ERP systems
Short‑and Long‑Term Success
In the first 6–12 months, success means:
- Reliable delivery follow‑up and high on‑time delivery performance
- Clear and professional communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Accurate and trustworthy procurement data supporting production planning
Longer term, you’ll take ownership of:
- Stable and predictable supplier execution across electronics and EMS
- Strong, professional supplier relationships supporting long‑term cooperation
- Documented cost improvements and robust procurement execution that enables production growth and customer delivery performance
What You Bring
You’re an experienced buyer who understands the realities of procurement in a production‑critical, technical environment. You balance hands‑on execution with commercial awareness and a strong sense of ownership.
You likely:
- Hold a relevant education within supply chain, procurement, engineering, or business
- Have solid experience in purchasing within electronics manufacturing, EMS, or similar industries
- Understand how to work operationally with contract manufacturers and component suppliers
- Communicate clearly and professionally with both suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Thrive on driving reliable execution, cost awareness, and continuous improvement
