Danske Bank in Copenhagen is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to shape the future of digital investing. You will work in a cross-functional squad alongside software developers, Business Analysts, UX designers and a Product Owner to define customer-facing journeys and translate market insights into opportunities.

Strong investment knowledge and experience with MiFID II regulation are essential, with a customer-centric and data-driven mindset.

What you will be doing

As a Senior Business Analyst, also known internally as a Business and Functional Specialist, you will play a key role in shaping the future of digital investing.
Working in a cross-functional product squad alongside software developers, Business Analysts, UX designers and a Product Owner, you will combine investment knowledge, customer insights, regulatory requirements and business opportunities to define seamless digital investment experiences. Among other things, you will:

• Define and evolve customer-facing investment journeys, including investment selection, digital guidance, suitability assessments, investment recommendations and ongoing suitability processes
• Explore customer needs, market trends, competitor experiences and industry practices, translating findings into recommendations and product opportunities
• Apply your knowledge of investment products and customer behaviour to shape intuitive and relevant investment experiences
• Analyse complex business and regulatory requirements, including MiFID II, ESG and related frameworks, and translate them into scalable solutions
• Drive strategic and commercial initiatives that improve customer value and business outcomes
• Use data, customer insights and experimentation to identify opportunities and measure success
• Collaborate closely with product, design, technology, legal and compliance stakeholders to facilitate discovery, alignment and decision-making
• The role requires you to take a broad perspective, create structure in complex topics and independently move analysis and product development forward.
  

About you

You are comfortable navigating between customer needs, investments, business, technology and a broad range of stakeholders. You are self-driven and able to take an open question, investigate it and progress it towards a clear recommendation. You know when to dive into details and when to maintain the broader perspective.
You are also a team-oriented person who values knowledge sharing, openness and continuous learning. We hope you bring:

• Strong knowledge of investments, investment products and how customers engage with investment solutions
• Several years of relevant experience from wealth management, investments, digital investment platforms, robo-advisory, banking, fintech, consulting or a similar field
• Experience with digital product development, customer journeys, proposition development, business analysis or product management
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn complex considerations into clear recommendations and actionable solutions
• Knowledge of investment regulation, including MiFID II, suitability and appropriateness requirements
• A customer-centric and commercial mindset, with curiosity about market trends and opportunities to improve investment journeys
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, combined with the ability to work independently, create structure and maintain momentum
• Experience working in agile teams and an interest in using data and AI to improve analysis, collaboration and decision-making
