Job summary

Kirby Group Engineering is recruiting a Building Management System (BMS) Package Lead for a large-scale data centre project. You will manage the BMS design, installation, commissioning and handover, coordinating closely with mechanical, electrical and commissioning teams to deliver on time, safely and to budget.

The ideal candidate will have a degree or trade qualification in electrical/controls engineering with 5+ years delivering BMS packages on major projects, and a proven ability to

Qualifications

• Degree or trade qualification in Electrical Engineering, Building Services, Automation or related discipline.
• 5+ years' experience delivering BMS/Controls packages on large-scale projects.
• Experience in data centres, pharmaceutical, industrial, or mission-critical environments preferred.
• Strong knowledge of BMS platforms (Siemens, Schneider, Trend, Honeywell, Johnson Controls).

Responsibilities

• Manage full BMS package lifecycle from design to handover.
• Coordinate BMS subcontractors, vendors and suppliers.
• Review submittals, RFIs, method statements and shop drawings.
• Ensure BMS works meet project specs, contract requirements and standards.
• Collaborate with Mechanical, Electrical, CSA and Commissioning teams.
• Monitor milestones and drive subcontractor performance.
• Lead package coordination meetings with stakeholders.
• Maintain QA/QC documentation throughout the project.
• Coordinate training, O&M manuals and handover docs.
• Uphold health and safety standards on site.
