Job summary

Nordea in Copenhagen is seeking an experienced backend developer to join the Savings Self-service Engineering team. You will work with Java/Spring Boot, REST, Kafka and JPA on a modern tech stack in an Agile environment.

You will collaborate with business experts, design and production, maintain and improve existing code, and contribute to enable customers to access services securely. Hybrid work arrangement and opportunities to grow with one of the Nordic banks are offered.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of backend engineering experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST, Kafka, and JPA.
• Solid understanding of Git, Jenkins, CI/CD, OAuth2, MSSQL, unit testing and microservices ecosystem.
• Willing to learn and join a diverse, inclusive team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate Java/Spring Boot solutions with Kafka topics and databases.
• Collaborate with business experts and operate across design to production.
• Maintain and upgrade existing codebase while ensuring security and reliability.
• Provide technical sparring within the DW area.
