Job summary

JOE & THE JUICE in Copenhagen is seeking a Senior Associate Accounts Payable to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely processing of supplier invoices and payments globally. The role reports to the AP Manager within the Finance team and supports VAT compliance and governance across the company.

You will support month-end and audit processes, coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders, and help drive automation and better controls within AP.

Responsibilities

• Process and validate supplier invoices, ensuring accurate coding, proper approvals, VAT compliance, and high-quality data integrity.
• Manage supplier communication and vendor onboarding, resolving invoice and payment-related queries in a timely, structured, and service-oriented manner while coordinating effectively with internal stakeholders.
• Perform monthly reconciliations, including vendor statement reconciliations, vendor subledger reviews, and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy and completeness.
• Support month-end closing activities by ensuring Accounts Payable accuracy and timely reporting in line with internal controls and accounting standards.
• Contribute to audit processes by providing documentation, analysis, and reconciliation support to ensure compliance and transparency.
• Drive continuous improvement within Accounts Payable processes by identifying inefficiencies, enhancing controls, and supporting automation or standardization initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, financial controls, and regulatory requirements, maintaining strong governance within the AP function.

JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Associate Accounts Payable is responsible for ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely processing of supplier invoices and payments globally, safeguarding financial integrity and operational efficiency. The role delivers high-quality Accounts Payable execution, supports month-end and audit processes, and acts as a reliable point of contact for suppliers and internal stakeholders. As part of the Finance team, this position contributes to strong financial governance, VAT compliance, and continuous process improvement, supporting the company's scalability and commercial performance. The role is a full-time position and reports to the AP Manager.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
