Job summary

FutureHire is seeking a Senior Architect to lead a diverse team in Copenhagen, Denmark. You will drive design concepting, develop detailed drawings, and oversee construction while ensuring code compliance and sustainability.

You will mentor junior architects, collaborate with clients and contractors, and manage multiple projects from concept through completion, maintaining high standards across diverse scales and international work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in architecture or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in architectural design and construction.
• Strong portfolio showcasing diverse projects.
• Excellent knowledge of building codes, regulations, and sustainability standards.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.

• Lead and manage a team of architects throughout the entire design and construction process
• Develop initial concepts and design proposals for projects
• Create detailed drawings plans and specifications for construction
• Oversee the selection of materials finishes and furnishings for projects
• Collaborate with contractors engineers and other professionals to ensure project success
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure adherence to design plans
• Ensure that all projects meet building codes regulations and sustainability standards
• Mentor junior architects and provide guidance on project tasks

Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture or related field
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in architectural design and construction
• Strong portfolio showcasing previous projects with diverse styles and scales
• Excellent knowledge of building codes regulations and sustainability standards
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Revit SketchUp Adobe Creative Suite or other architectural software programs
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients and team members

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional licensure as an architect in Denmark or another EU country
• Previous experience working on international projects or with diverse cultural backgrounds

Salary

The salary for this position is 1600$ per month
