We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Architect to join our team in Aalborg, Denmark. As a Senior Architect, you will be responsible for leading and managing projects from concept design to construction completion. You will also be expected to provide technical expertise and guidance to junior architects and work collaboratively with engineers, contractors, and clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage project teams to ensure successful delivery of high-quality designs within budget and timeline
• Develop conceptual designs, detailed drawings and specifications for various projects
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior architects in the development of design concepts
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure design feasibility and functionality
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress of construction and ensure adherence to design plans
• Review project proposals, contracts, and construction documents to identify potential issues or conflicts
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and new materials/technologies for architectural design

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 5 years experience working as an architect in a professional setting
• Strong knowledge of architectural design principles, building codes, materials, and construction methods
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit or other architectural software
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience leading project teams and providing mentorship/guidance to junior architects
• Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with engineers, contractors,and clients
• Fluency in English (Danish language skills are a plus)
• Willingness to relocate to Aalborg (accommodation will be provided)
