Job summary

Zealand Pharma seeks a Senior AI Engineer to lead how AI agents come to life, running our Claude platform and building the developer platform for secure, enterprise-grade agentic AI. You will partner with business teams to turn ideas into measurable use cases and help shape the Data & AI journey.

You will design and evolve platforms, expose enterprise data to agents, and mentor colleagues while advancing secure, production-ready solutions.

Qualifications

Experience designing, building and operating production platforms or shared services.
Hands-on with enterprise APIs and system integrations.
Strong Python proficiency; .NET experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Run and evolve the Claude platform in daily operation, including configuration, connectors, monitoring and user support.
Design, build and operate the developer platform capabilities enabling agentic AI with model access, MCP servers and tooling.
Build and maintain connectors to expose enterprise systems, documents and data to agents with secure data access.
Provide a paved road for teams via SDKs, templates, CI/CD and documentation, plus observability and guardrails.
Engage business stakeholders to qualify demand, build value cases and deliver reference use cases.
Collaborate with Cloud Infra and Cyber Security teams on secure-by-design solutions.
