Job summary

Knowit is seeking a Senior Solution Architect to shape scalable, future‑proof architecture for clients’ digital platforms. You will bridge business needs, user requirements and technical possibilities, with AI playing an integral role in both products and development processes.

You will work with project managers, designers, UX professionals, and clients to translate requirements into robust, maintainable solutions and to drive responsible use of AI across teams.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience in web development or solution architecture.
• Hands-on experience across backend and frontend technologies (C#, TS/JS, HTML/CSS, Python) and CI/CD.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Experience with AI-assisted development and governance considerations (GDPR/NIS2).
• Ability to connect architectural decisions with client needs and business value.

Responsibilities

• Shape the overall architecture for new and existing digital platforms.
• Translate business requirements into clear technical solutions.
• Decide on platforms, technologies and integrations.
• Design scalable backend and frontend solutions.
• Define how content platforms, APIs, AI services and third‑party systems work together.
• Assess where AI adds value and where simpler approaches suffice.
• Promote responsible use of AI in development and governance.
• Identify risks and compliance considerations early in the process.
• Contribute to technical estimates and client discussions.
• Support high‑quality delivery with coding standards and documentation.
