Job summary

MARPRO Group is seeking a Senior Accountant and Payroll Specialist to join our Lyngby office. You will support accounting operations and oversee payroll, partnering with the Head of Accounting to ensure accurate reporting and strong controls.

In this role you will drive improvements, contribute to process optimization, and work within a modern, international accounting team. Danish and English fluency are required.

Qualifications

• Relevant professional experience within Accounting, Finance, Payroll, or a comparable function.
• Hands-on experience supporting payroll processes and reconciliations.
• Solid experience with month-end closing, balance sheet reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in ERP systems and Excel.
• Fluent Danish and English communication skills, both written and spoken.

On behalf of our client, MARPRO Group is looking for a Senior Accountant and Payroll Specialist for their office in Lyngby. You will report to the Head of Accounting of the company.

The job

As a Senior Accountant and Payroll Specialist you will play a key role in supporting the accounting operations and partnering closely with the Head of Accounting. Combining payroll oversight and accounting expertise, you will help ensure accurate reporting, strong accounting controls and high-quality payroll processes. This is a broad and impactful role where you will have the opportunity to drive improvements, contribute to process optimization and make a real difference in a modern, international accounting team.

Professional qualifications

• Relevant professional experience within Accounting, Finance, Payroll, or a comparable function.
