Job summary

SmartConnect Qatar is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our Randers, Denmark team. You will manage financial operations, maintain records, and ensure regulatory compliance with a hands-on, independent approach.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in accounting, a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, strong Excel skills, and excellent communication. Visa sponsorship is available for non-EU candidates, and the role is full-time with immediate start.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Accountant or related role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel or other accounting software.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Visa sponsorship available for non-EU candidates.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records including balance sheets, income statements and cash flow statements.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and variances.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
• Manage accounts payable/receivable processes.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Monitor cash flow and manage budgeting processes.
• Collaborate with other departments to develop financial plans and strategies.
• Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff.
