NCC Building Nordics is seeking a Segment Lead for Healthcare to drive segment strategy across Denmark, Norway and Finland. You will monitor market opportunities, support regional divisions with market and sales activities, and lead the healthcare segment network to share knowledge and drive growth.

The role requires Nordic hospital project experience, strong contracting know-how, and a proactive, stakeholder-focused leadership style.

Qualifications

Segment lead Healthcare – Business Area Building Nordics

NCC has a strong position in developing and building projects within the Healthcare segment. To further strengthen NCC's market position and leverage competence across NCC Business Area Building Nordics as well across the whole NCC Group, the business area is now looking for a segment lead to drive the development within the strategically important segment Healthcare.

Segment Healthcare is one of Building Nordics four strategic segments which are identified as important drivers for profital growth. The project portfolio within healthcare segment includes hospitals, prisons, health centers and homes for the aged.

The Role And Key Responsibilities

• Drive work with the healthcare segment strategy and ensure its effective implementation.
• Monitor the market and project opportunities within the segment.
• Support the divisions and departments in Denmark, Norway, and Finland with market and sales activities, for example early customer dialogues and how to best leverage NCC knowledge.
• Ensure systematic collection of experiences, promoting a culture of knowledge sharing, and securing a build-up of knowledge capital (references, sales material, building methods and solutions, project KPI:s, etcetera).
• Provide second opinions and reviews at critical stages in ongoing projects.
• Lead and develop the healthcare segment network in Building Nordics and secure collaboration and knowledge sharing cross segments within Building Nordics and with other Business Areas.
• Monitor and analyze the segment's performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Planning and execution of segment-specific activities

The segment lead acts as a link between the business area management, the division management and the segment network, ensuring that the segment's work aligns with NCC's strategic direction and the business area's overall priorities.

NCC Building Nordics has a strong position in developing and building projects within a wide project portfolio for both public and private customers in Denmark, Finland and Norway. With a high level of competence within sustainability, digitalization and collaborative customer cooperation methods NCC Building Nordics develop the projects together with customers in an early stage.

Your Experience And Background

In this recruitment, we are looking for a person with the following background and experiences:

• Experiences from the development and execution of large hospital projects in a Nordic context
• Good understanding of contracting models, negotiations, and commercial set-ups in complex construction projects or similar projects
• Proactive customer approach
• Create and develop relationships with all stakeholders within the segment
• Strategic and operational experience and understanding from construction business and large, complex projects
• Team lead experience from line organization
• Your ways of working demonstrates a structured approach, persistence and a high level of impact on relevant stakeholders

Additional Information

This is a full-time position that is based in one of NCC:s main offices in Denmark, Norway or Finland. Frequent travelling across the Nordic region is required for this role. The segment lead Healthcare reports to the Building Nordics Head of Business Development.
