Job summary

JYSK in Aarhus seeks an IT Security Specialist - Automation to own the security automation platform, from setup to ongoing improvement. You will design and implement SOAR playbooks and integrate with SIEM, EDR and other security tools, turning operations into faster, more reliable responses.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of cybersecurity experience, preferably in security operations.
• Ability to own tasks and progress challenges independently.
• Practical and curious approach to understanding systems and translating requirements.
• Experience with SOAR platforms, security automation, scripting and integrations.
• Experience with Python or willingness to develop these skills.
• Clear communication across technical and non-technical colleagues.
• Proactive in building new solutions and improving processes.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test and maintain SOAR playbooks and automated response workflows for security incidents and operational processes.
• Improve incident response processes to reduce manual work and enable faster, more consistent responses.
• Integrate the SOAR platform with security tools and data sources, including SIEM, EDR, identity, threat intelligence and ticketing systems.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and continuously improve existing security automations to keep them reliable, maintainable and fit for purpose.
• Work with the security team to identify automation opportunities and translate operational requirements into effective workflows.
• Drive security automation initiatives from idea to implementation and proactively identify what should be automated next.
