Job summary

Veo is hiring a Procurement & Vendor Manager to take ownership of software license spend (SaaS) and hardware procurement. You will audit spend, eliminate shelfware, and negotiate with vendors to reduce costs while ensuring contracts meet business needs.

You’ll collaborate with IT, Finance, and department heads to build scalable purchasing processes. You will manage renewals, establish SAM practices, and lead end-to-end procurement with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Procurement/vendor management experience with a strong focus on SaaS and software licensing.
• Track record of delivering cost savings by reading contracts and negotiating terms.
• Confident, commercially sharp negotiator.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, less-structured environment and building processes from scratch.
• Strong stakeholder skills across IT, Finance, and business.

Responsibilities

• Audit and map current software license spend; identify ownership and usage.
• Clean up and rationalize the portfolio; eliminate shelfware and consolidate tools.
• Build and maintain a renewals calendar to prevent auto-renewals without review.
• Negotiate renewals and new contracts to reduce cost and improve terms.
• Establish software asset management practices and reporting for visibility.
• Own purchasing of office hardware: laptops, peripherals, AV, and related equipment.
• Lead commercial negotiations on contracts, renewals, and new vendor deals.
• Partner with IT, Finance, and department heads to align buying with real needs and budget.
