Job summary

UNFPA is seeking an experienced consultant for an international, remote-based assignment based in Copenhagen. The purpose is to refresh SCMU’s Activity-Based Costing model, conduct workload-driver assessment and develop an evidence-based pricing framework for 2027.

The consultancy will build on the 2025 effort estimate and current governance, with home-based delivery and possible in-person reviews at SCMU in Copenhagen.

Qualifications

• Advanced university degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, supply-chain management, data analytics or another relevant field.
• CPA/ACCA/CIMA/CMA qualification is an asset.
• Strong experience in costing, pricing and financial modelling.

Responsibilities

• Refresh the ABC model and estimate the full cost of doing business.
• Validate people costs, effort and workload drivers.
• Assess current fee structures and benchmark pricing arrangements.
• Conduct TPP costing, pricing assessment and scenario analysis.
• Develop 2027 pricing and cost-recovery recommendations.
• Prepare governance, implementation roadmap and knowledge transfer.
