Job summary

Google is seeking a cybersecurity consultant to provide advisory services and hands-on offensive security engagements. You will perform Red and Purple team assessments, external engagements, and security testing across web, mobile, and network environments.

You will also develop detailed reports for both technical and executive audiences and mentor junior team members. Ideal candidates have extensive offensive security experience, strong communication skills, and a track record of delivering

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience assessing and developing cybersecurity solutions across multiple security domains.
• 5 years of experience in offensive security.
• Experience with four or more of: network protocols, threat intelligence analysis, system and network administration, project management, developing applications, incident response, source code review, reverse engineering.
• Experience with Linux or other operating systems security.

Responsibilities

• Perform Red and Purple team assessments including adversarial emulation.
• Develop comprehensive reports for technical and executive audiences.
• Mentor other staff and expand team capabilities with tools and threat intel.
• Scope engagements and guide teams from kickoff through remediation.
