Job summary

Demant Diagnostics Global R&D seeks a DSP Engineer to develop, implement and optimise signal processing algorithms for hearing and balance diagnostics. You will work across software, hardware and PM teams to translate concepts into robust embedded solutions.

Qualifications

• Educational background in software, electrical, mechatronics, robotics, photonics, health tech, or computer science.
• Strong interest in signal processing and embedded systems.
• Experience with DSP concepts such as filtering, time-frequency analysis, noise reduction, adaptive algorithms, or statistical signal analysis.
• Experience with MATLAB, Python, C++, or similar tools.
• Ability to analyse, validate, and optimise algorithm performance using data.
• Structured documentation and quality-focused development.
• Experience in regulated MedTech or related industries is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimise signal processing algorithms for hearing and balance diagnostic solutions.
• Translate algorithms into embedded implementations on resource-constrained hardware.
• Validate algorithms using synthetic and real-world datasets via benchmarking and testing.
• Collaborate with colleagues in software, systems, hardware, and PM.
• Contribute to feasibility studies, technical investigations, and product innovation.
• Support verification, validation, documentation, and regulatory development activities within a MedTech environment.
