Faerch is looking for an experienced Regulatory Specialist to join its Group Product Development & Compliance department.
The role offers broad exposure across the organization and close collaboration with key stakeholders and strategic customers, while giving you the opportunity to strengthen Faerch’s regulatory foundation in the development of safe, compliant, and sustainable packaging solutions.
Go-to expert in regulatory compliance in early stage of product developmentAs a Regulatory Specialist, you will join a team of dedicated colleagues with strong professional expertise in product development and compliance. The department is responsible for developing, maintaining, implementing, and optimizing material recipes for extrusion, while always ensuring full compliance with applicable food safety regulations and legislation.
In this position, you’ll act as Faerch’s subject matter expert on legislation governing food contact materials. You will be responsible for monitoring, interpreting, and implementing legal requirements, ensuring that Faerch’s products comply with applicable legislation in all markets.
The role involves extensive collaboration across the organization. You will contribute regulatory expertise early in the product development process and become a natural point of reference for colleagues and stakeholders seeking guidance on regulatory matters.

The position offers broad international exposure and the opportunity to shape processes, standards, and workflows within a growing area of responsibility in the department.
Who you are?You bring experience from regulatory affairs, food contact materials, compliance, or quality, combined with a solid understanding of FCM legislation, preferably including EU regulations. Your educational background may be in engineering, for example food technology, chemical engineering, process technology, laboratory science, or another relevant discipline.
You know how to apply regulatory requirements in a commercial and operational context. Experience from an international organization, project management, or collaboration across production sites would be an advantage.
As a person, you are structured, analytical, and detail‑oriented, with a strong sense of ownership in your work. You enjoy working with complex legislative material and can communicate it clearly to various stakeholders.
