Job summary

TrackMan is hiring a data engineer to join our AWS cloud-based data platform. You will build and operate Python microservices with DBT at the core, ensuring reliability as an SRE and designing scalable data pipelines for real-time athlete performance data.

You will collaborate with data science, BI, and application teams in a GitOps-driven, Agile environment, applying best practices in data quality and automation.

Qualifications

• Background as backend developer or DevOps engineer or similar.
• Experience with AWS cloud technologies.
• Familiarity with GitOps processes and Agile development.
• Interest in data at scale, data quality and automation.

Responsibilities

• Use your developer skills to work on an AWS cloud stack with Python microservices and DBT at its core
• Contribute as an SRE and ensure platform reliability aligns with product needs
• Architect solutions and pipelines to solve data at scale
• Identity and troubleshoot data quality or platform issues using systematic troubleshooting
• Interface with business, operations and other teams to refine requirements
