Job summary

Hitachi Rail in Denmark is seeking a Construction Manager to lead and coordinate site activities for rail installations. You will manage daily construction tasks, ensure compliance with RAMS, ITPs, permits, and HSE controls, and hand over to testing and system integration.

The role demands strong leadership of subcontractors, a focus on safety and quality, and the ability to resolve site constraints within approved work packages.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in construction/installation leadership on rail or infrastructure projects.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and site teams.
• Strong knowledge of RAMS, permits, inspections and HSE controls.

Responsibilities

• Plan and control daily/weekly construction activities and workforce.
• Ensure work follows approved drawings, RAMS, ITPs, and permits.
• Coordinate materials readiness, site interfaces, and handover to testing.
• Lead problem-solving and escalation of safety/quality/schedule risks.
• Maintain installation records and commissioning-readiness information.
