Job summary

DAMRC – Danish Advanced Manufacturing Research Center – is hiring two R&D Engineers for its Herning location to convert advanced machining technology into practical methods for Danish manufacturers on the shop floor.

You will work in our Herning R&D centre and on-site with industrial partners, driving projects from concept to implementation and contributing to green-transition technologies.

Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering or equivalent.
• Real understanding of machining—the process itself, not just theory.
• Ability to explain technical results clearly to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Drive development and maturation of new machining technologies in our R&D centre.
• Contribute to process and production optimisation for industrial customers.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams and industry partners.
• Share findings with engineers, production managers and machine operators.
