Job summary

Alfa Laval invites you to join the global valve team to develop and maintain the hygienic valve portfolio. You will collaborate with R&D and other functions worldwide on new valve concepts and optimization of existing products.

You will apply your mechanical engineering background, CFD skills, and CAD/PLM proficiency (NX, TeamCenter) to deliver high-quality, market-ready solutions while communicating in English and Danish across a large matrix organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in product design or construction in mechanical engineering.
• Experience with hygienic equipment is preferred.
• Proficient in CAD (NX preferred) and PLM (Siemens NX/TeamCenter).
• Strong CFD capability and desire to develop further.
• Excellent English and Danish communication.

About The Job

As an R&D Development Engineer Valves at Alfa Laval, you will be part of our global valve team, focusing on the development and maintenance of our valve portfolio. You will collaborate closely with colleagues from R&D and other functions worldwide, contributing to both the development of new hygienic valves and the optimization of our existing product range.

In This Role, You Will

• Collaborate with the valve development team and the broader R&D organization on quality, process improvement, and resource optimization.
• Work closely with internal and global stakeholders to maintain a competitive valves portfolio.
• Participate in projects from initial concept to product launch, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
• Support both development of new products and improvements to existing valves to meet market needs and customer requirements.

What You Know

• Mechanical engineering background with at least 5 years of experience in product design or construction, preferably within hygienic equipment.
• Skilled in CFD, with a desire to further develop this competence.
• Proficient in CAD (NX preferred) and PLM (Siemens NX and TeamCenter preferred)
• Knowledge of mechanical design requirements, manufacturing methods, and applications in the hygienic industry.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Danish, both oral and written.
