Job summary

This cross-disciplinary role bridges lab operations with software development, requiring strong collaboration, CAD skills, and practical experience with cryogenic electronics and data acquisition.

Qualifications

• Master’s or higher degree in Physics, Electronics or related field.
• Hands-on experience with cryogenic systems for electronic characterization.
• Proficiency in Python for measurement automation and Git for version control.
• Experience with CAD tools for hardware layout and system integration.
• Experience documenting hardware procedures and lab workflows with automation or AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Improve procedures, documentation, inventory management and safety practices in the lab.
• Build, maintain and operate 4K cryogenic hardware systems for quantum device screening.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware issues in cryogenic setups (ground loops, wiring faults, etc.).
• Integrate hardware components for data acquisition and validation.
• Assist in 4K measurement execution and collaborate with software teams.
• Design and build AI agents to document procedures and maintenance activities.
• Manage and track hardware inventory and coordinate procurement.
• Uphold safety standards and lab best practices; contribute to a reliable lab culture.
