Job summary

Vestas seeks a skilled Quality Inspector to join the Onshore Quality team in Denmark. You will ensure quality, safety and compliance during wind turbine installation and commissioning, inspecting components, and coordinating with project teams across Northern Europe and the UK.

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with ISO9001 and ISO14001.
  • 3-5 years of experience in the wind industry.
  • Experience with electrical, mechanical, or hydraulic diagrams.
  • High attention to detail and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct and manage component inspections throughout the WTG installation, commissioning, and operational phases.
  • Collaborate with the project team and customer representatives to ensure quality requirements are met.
  • Coordinate quality activities to align with customer specifications and project objectives.
  • Identify, document, track, and report non-conformities, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Review, approve, and maintain accurate inspection and quality documentation.
  • Inspect incoming site deliveries, including nacelles, towers, and blades.
  • Promote a safe working environment by adhering to HSE and quality standards.

At Vestas, our Onshore Commissioning, Site Compliance & Site Quality team consists of highly skilled and dedicated supervisors supporting projects and specialist assignments across Northern & Central Europe and the UK. Working on some of the world's largest wind farm projects, our teams play a critical role in ensuring the quality, compliance, and safe execution of wind turbine installations.Our supervisors work daily around large-scale wind turbine components, where safety, attention to detail, and strong leadership are essential. We foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and professional development, providing an environment where talented people are encouraged to challenge themselves and grow.You will join our Commissioning, Site Compliance & Site Quality department based in Aarhus, Denmark. As part of our Onshore Quality team, you will support project execution across a range of sites throughout Northern & Central Europe and the UK.In this position, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance throughout project execution, helping to ensure the successful delivery of sustainable energy solutions worldwide.

Qualifications
