Job summary

SilverBack is seeking an experienced QA/QC professional to support a major construction project, focusing on quality management across on-site and off-site activities, reporting to the Quality Manager.

You will lead inspection teams, review ITPs, manage non-conformances and corrective actions, and ensure compliance with specs and standards across multiple sites, with willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• 8+ years' experience in a QA/QC role on major construction projects.
• Relevant QA/QC professional qualification or certification.
• Proven experience leading QC teams across multiple sites.
• Strong ability to interpret technical drawings and use IT/digital construction tools.

Responsibilities

• Support the Quality Manager in delivering contractual quality requirements, objectives, audits and quality deliverables.
• Lead and coordinate inspection teams, review ITPs, and ensure construction, vendor and subcontractor activities meet required standards.
• Manage quality records, non-conformances and corrective actions, driving continuous improvement and preventing recurrence.
• Ensure all activities comply with approved specifications, procedures, standards and traceable project documentation.
• Work closely with project and construction teams to maintain a strong quality culture across multiple work fronts.
• Willingness to travel; BIM 360, Lead Auditor and Integrated Management Systems experience would be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Quality Manager in delivering contractual quality requirements, objectives, audits and quality deliverables.
• Lead and coordinate inspection teams, review ITPs, and ensure construction, vendor and subcontractor activities meet required standards.
• Manage quality records, non-conformances and corrective actions, driving continuous improvement and preventing recurrence.
• Ensure all activities comply with approved specifications, procedures, standards and traceable project documentation.
• Work closely with project and construction teams to maintain a strong quality culture across multiple work fronts.
• 8+ years' experience in a similar QA/QC role, ideally within data centres or complex construction projects.
• Relevant professional qualification/certification in QA/QC or an equivalent discipline.
• Proven experience managing QC teams across multiple sites/work fronts.
• Strong technical drawing interpretation, IT and digital construction platform skills.
• Willingness to travel; BIM 360, Lead Auditor and Integrated Management Systems experience would be advantageous.
