Bavarian Nordic in Kvistgård, Denmark, is hiring a Purchaser, Direct Procurement on a fixed-term parental leave cover until 31 December 2027. The role focuses on reliable, cost-efficient raw material sourcing and cross-functional collaboration with Production, Quality and external suppliers.

The successful candidate will manage direct procurement across packaging and consumables, use Dynamics, and contribute to continuous procurement improvements while ensuring regulatory and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with direct procurement in a manufacturing/operations environment.
• Familiarity with ERP/procurement systems (e.g. Dynamics).
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluency in Danish and English.

Responsabilités

• Issue purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services to the site.
• Monitor inventory levels and maintain optimal stock.
• Identify and mitigate supply disruptions and supplier reliability risks.
• Manage procurement across direct categories (consumables, packaging).
• Support requisition-to-purchase-order process in Dynamics.
• Evaluate supplier performance per internal policies.
• Contribute to process improvements and standardization.

You will report to the Site Purchasing Manager.About the RoleAs a Purchaser within Direct Procurement, you will play a vital role in ensuring the reliable and cost-effective procurement of raw materials to support our operations.
