Job summary

Kirby Group Engineering is hiring a Project QC Engineer to manage quality control deliverables on a major data centre project in Milan. This site-based role focuses on inspections, test packs, walkdowns and accurate reporting to ensure clean handover.

You will work with construction, commissioning, BIM, EHS and supply chain teams to plan inspections, track issues and maintain data integrity. If you value structure, accountability and delivering quality, this role is for you.

Qualifications

• Experience in a QC Engineer or quality inspection role on large construction projects.
• Exposure to data centres, pharmaceuticals or other regulated environments.
• Strong understanding of inspections, test packs, walkdowns and handover processes.
• Ability to read drawings, schematics, SLDs and P&IDs.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and manage Inspection & Test Plans and inspection checklists.
• Track approvals in line with submittal and construction programmes.
• Monitor weld traceability, weld logs, and NDT requirements.
• Define system limits and boundaries for test packs and track each pack through completion.
• Compile handover packs and ensure data accuracy for walkdowns and handover.
