Job summary

Vestas is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead Procurement activities in New Product Introduction projects, collaborating with R&D, Manufacturing and stakeholders worldwide. You will own procurement deliverables, implement strategies and manage budgets to ensure on-time, safe, and cost-effective project outcomes.

This role operates in a global, high-performance environment at a world-leading wind turbine manufacturer, based in Aarhus, Denmark, offering strong development opportunities

Qualifications

• 3+ years as Project Manager in production with global supply chain
• Bachelor's degree in project management, management, supply chain or engineering
• PM certification such as Prince2, IPMA C, PMP or similar

Responsibilities

• Lead New Product Introduction projects within Procurement with R&D and Manufacturing
• Implement procurement strategies and plans in projects
• Own deliverables from Procurement per governance models and report to stakeholders
• Deliver scope on time, with safety, quality, cost, and resources balance
• Ensure supply chain readiness through development to ramp-up
• Manage procurement budgets across projects

We're looking for an experienced Project Manager to manage Procurement activities in New Product Introduction projects, working closely with R&D, Manufacturing, and key stakeholders worldwide. We efficiently plan, align and implement the procurement scope of New Product Introduction projects - in a safe, high-quality, timely and cost-effective way. We are currently a team of 9 skilled international Project Managers co-located at Vestas' headquarters in Aarhus and look forward to adding another.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage New Product Introduction projects within Procurement in close cooperation with R&D, Manufacturing and other key functions
• Bring Procurement strategies and tactical plans into action when carrying out the projects
• Take full ownership of all deliverables from Procurement in your projects according to Vestas' governance models while engaging and reporting to relevant stakeholders
• Deliver on agreed project scope and targets, ensuring safety while balancing quality, time, cost, resources, risks and benefits
• Ensure supply chain readiness throughout the development projects until global production ramp-up
• Be responsible for Procurement budgets in all your projects

Qualifications

• 3+ years as Project Manager, preferably in production companies with a global supply chain
• Minimum Bachelor's degree in project management, management discipline, supply chain or engineering
• Hold a project management certification such as Prince2, IPMA C, PMP or similar

We prefer:

• Experience with Procurement and New Product Introduction
• Experience in leading project teams with remote team members
• Experience working in a matrix organization
• Solid communication and presentation skills in English, both verbally and in writing
