Job description

Project Manager for strategic projects (maternity cover)

Are you an experienced Project Manager motivated by making a tangible difference? Pharmacosmos is looking for a Project Manager to lead complex, strategic projects across our value chain and deliver lasting impact across the organisation. You bring strong project leadership and analytical skills and are adept at engaging stakeholders at all organisational levels. If this sounds like you, we would like to hear from you.

Your role As Project Manager, you will join our small project management team and lead two to five strategic projects in parallel. The projects vary in scale, complexity and nature and support areas such as the CEO Office, Clinical R&D, Legal, Supply Chain, Finance and HR. They may, for example, include digitalisation initiatives and IT system implementations. You may become involved from the initial assessment of needs and requirements through business-case development, solution evaluation, implementation and final reporting. Where external vendors are involved, you will lead the request-for-proposal process and support vendor evaluation and selection. This is a hands-on role. In addition to managing and coordinating projects, you will actively contribute to project execution. You will establish the appropriate project organisation and governance, clarify roles and responsibilities, engage stakeholders and ensure effective reporting on progress, milestones and financials. Your ability to combine project management expertise with strong business acumen will be key to your success. Through a professional and respectful approach, you will build trust and create the right conditions for the project team and stakeholders to succeed. You will be part of the Data & Projects department and report directly to the Director of the department.
