Planet Pharma is seeking an experienced Patient Recruitment Project Manager to lead recruitment and marketing efforts across clinical studies from a remote home-based location in Denmark.   • Fluent English; Danish language skills are advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Manage patient recruitment and marketing projects from kickoff to delivery.
  • Serve as primary client contact with regular updates.
  • Develop detailed project plans with timelines and milestones.
  • Keep projects on schedule meeting deadlines and expectations.
  • Coordinate recruitment campaigns across digital, social media and channels.
  • Manage multiple projects and studies simultaneously.
  • Lead client and internal project meetings; communicate progress and risks.

  • Coordinate development and delivery of patient-facing recruitment materials.
  • Manage external vendors and partners.
  • Monitor recruitment performance against objectives.
  • Provide clients with progress reports and milestones.
  • Maintain project documentation and logs.
  • Manage scope/timeline changes and communicate.
  • Support recruitment and retention strategies throughout trial lifecycle.
  • Ensure activities comply with study requirements and privacy regulations.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Patient Recruitment Project Manager to lead and coordinate patient recruitment and marketing projects across clinical research studies. This is a full-time contract opportunity, home based in Denmark.

The successful candidate will take ownership of projects from initiation through delivery, acting as a key point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders while ensuring patient recruitment campaigns are delivered on time, within scope and to agreed objectives. The position requires a strong combination of project management, client relationship management and patient recruitment/marketing experience within the clinical research industry.

  • Manage patient recruitment and marketing projects from initial client kick-off through to delivery and close-out.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing regular project updates and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Develop detailed project plans covering timelines, milestones, deliverables, responsibilities and dependencies.
  • Ensure projects remain on schedule and that key deadlines and client expectations are consistently met.
  • Coordinate patient recruitment campaigns across digital, social media, advertising and other patient outreach channels.
  • Manage multiple projects and studies simultaneously, prioritising activities according to recruitment needs and deadlines.
  • Lead regular client and internal project meetings, communicating progress, challenges, risks and required actions.
  • Proactively identify project risks, recruitment challenges and potential delays, implementing mitigation plans where required.
  • Work closely with clinical operations, marketing teams, investigator sites, vendors and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Coordinate the development, review and delivery of patient-facing recruitment and marketing materials.
  • Manage external vendors and partners involved in patient recruitment and marketing activities.
  • Monitor patient recruitment performance and campaign metrics against agreed project objectives.
  • Provide clients and internal stakeholders with clear reporting on project progress, recruitment performance and key milestones.
  • Ensure project documentation, trackers, timelines and action logs are maintained accurately.
  • Manage changes to project scope, timelines and deliverables, ensuring these are clearly communicated to relevant stakeholders.
  • Support patient recruitment and retention strategies throughout the lifecycle of clinical trials.
  • Ensure patient recruitment activities and communications comply with relevant study requirements, privacy standards and applicable regulations.
Experience & Qualifications
  • Previous Project Management experience within clinical research, clinical trials, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, CRO or patient recruitment environments.
  • Experience managing client-facing projects and acting as a key point of contact for external customers.
  • Strong experience managing project timelines, milestones, deadlines and deliverables.
  • Experience within patient recruitment, patient engagement, clinical trial marketing or healthcare marketing.
  • Demonstrable ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and external vendors.
  • Strong understanding of the clinical trial patient recruitment process.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and client communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to proactively identify and resolve project risks.
  • Experience preparing and presenting project updates, status reports and performance metrics.
  • Ability to work independently within a remote and international environment.
  • Fluent English required, with Danish language skills highly advantageous.
