Job summary

GEA Liquid Technologies in Skanderborg is seeking a Project Engineer to join our Nordic team. You will work across the full project lifecycle from sales through commissioning, collaborating with specialists to design and implement liquid processing solutions for the food and dairy industries.

You will lead technical and, where appropriate, commercial aspects of projects, coordinate with automation engineers, support equipment selection, and travel within the Nordic region.

Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical, process, dairy engineering or similar field.
• Previous experience in project engineering, process engineering or equipment design.
• Experience with commissioning or start-up of liquid processing systems is an advantage.
• Strong proficiency in spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of the full project lifecycle from sales through execution and aftermarket services.
• Contribute to the execution of customer projects from design to handover (including commissioning and start-up).
• Possibly lead both technical and commercial execution as project engineer and project manager.
• Coordinate with automation engineers to support design and commissioning activities.
• Lead equipment commissioning, SAT, start-up and performance validation at customer sites.
• Travel in the Nordic region for customer meetings, supplier visits and site activities.
