Job summary

GEA Liquid Technologies in Skanderborg is seeking a Project Engineer to join the team. You will gain insights into customers' products and production processes while designing and implementing systems that optimize operations.

Based in Skanderborg, you will collaborate with colleagues across expertise areas to deliver customized solutions for the Nordic region's food and dairy industries.

Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical, process, dairy engineering or similar field.
• Experience in project engineering or process engineering or equipment design in relevant industries.
• Experience with commissioning or start-up of liquid processing systems is advantageous.
• Strong proficiency in spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Develop PFDs, mass balances and P&IDs for hygienic process applications and review 3D models.
• Size and specify process equipment, tanks and flow components; perform hydraulic and utility calculations; support layout optimization.
• Serve as technical contact for customers throughout project execution.
• Specify, procure and evaluate equipment from suppliers and subcontractors with procurement.
• Collaborate with project managers to develop project schedules and resource planning.
• Coordinate process requirements with automation engineers to support design and commissioning activities.
• Lead and support commissioning, SAT, start-up and performance validation at customer sites.
