Job summary

Arla Foods is seeking a Global Planner to coordinate between sales and production, ensuring Master Production Planning for complex sites and balancing capacity with demand. You will collaborate with leaders across functions and countries to optimize production and drive continuous improvement.

You will work from the head office in Denmark and engage with stakeholders globally, bringing strong Excel/BI skills and English communication to the role.

Qualifications

“In this role you will be the coordinating link between our sales and production units and one of your primary objectives will be to follow up on plans for both areas. You will be responsible for the Master Production Planning of minimum one complex site, balancing capacity with the demand. This job will give you the opportunity to develop your skills both on a personal and professional level. We are looking for at talented and skilled Global Planner”, says Planning Director, Global Planning BSM/POW, Maja Bennett Biltoft.

The department is based in our head office in Viby J, Aarhus, but you will work closely with people from many different countries.

How You Will Make An Impact

In this role you will play a decisive role ensuring that we apply and use our milk and capacities optimally from a global perspective. You will be responsible for follow up on forecasts and production compliance and thereby identify imbalances between supply and demand. Furthermore, you will

• Have close collaboration with leaders and employees at all levels of the organization and gain a unique insight into Arla Foods’ business across units and functions
• Challenge processes and practices by identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
• Lead and facilitate Plant Review Meetings at sites and other relevant meetings with stakeholders
• Prepare material and analysis for the monthly Sales & Operation Planning process
• Optimize and move production across sites in different countries to fulfil all demand
• Facilitate E2E discussions across other planning functions to secure overall Arla value creation as top priority
• Lead cross functional projects and take lead on knowledge sharing and provide training.

• You hold a degree either within Economics or Supply Chain Management, and maybe you have been working with planning or logistics for a few years.
• You are an advanced user of Excel and BI tools, with solid understanding of the supply chain activities, processes and tools.
• You are a skillful communicator with good written and verbal English skills.
