Danfoss Silkeborg is seeking a Production Engineer in the plastic moulding department to develop, maintain, and improve plastic injection moulding processes that produce radiator thermostats and valves.

You will join a team of 11 engineers, own process improvements, collaborate with operators, maintenance, quality and product development, and drive root-cause analysis, new products, and robust solutions to boost uptime and productivity.

Qualifikationen

• Technical background in plastic processing, injection moulding, or related field.
• Strong understanding of injection moulding processes, tooling and materials.
• Analytical thinker with practical shop-floor problem-solving skills.
• Excellent collaboration across functions and external partners, bilingual Danish/English.

Aufgaben

• Own and continuously improve plastic injection moulding processes for stable production.
• Optimize moulding parameters, cycle times, material use, and process capability.
• Lead root-cause analyses for deviations, scrap, and downtime; implement durable fixes.
• Validate new products, materials, tooling, and equipment for smooth integration.
• Strengthen quality control with APQP, PFMEA, process validation, and maintenance.
