Job summary

Apylon in Copenhagen is building a new generation of healthcare financial automation. You will own end-to-end EHR integrations, design data models, and build platform primitives to connect diverse systems and rules.

This role blends integration engineering with customer-facing collaboration, including discovery calls and joint debugging with hospital IT teams, and ownership from design to deployment.

Qualifications

• Experience building production systems in complex domains with ownership mindset.
• Ability to use LLMs as production components with reliability controls.
• Strong data-modelling instincts and capacity to handle real-world variation.
• Comfort with incomplete information, hypotheses testing, and data-driven decisions.
• Customer-facing technical work and collaboration with vendors and hospital IT teams.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and distributed systems.
• Hands-on approach to architecture and quick scripting for urgent needs.

Responsibilities

• Own EHR integrations end to end: APIs, schemas, and vendor changes.
• Build reusable integration primitives for extraction, normalization, versioning, replay, monitoring, and observability.
• Design the canonical data model connecting EHR data, reimbursement systems and coding standards.
• Provide inputs for billing agents, with validation and evaluation for safe production use.
• Collaborate with hospital IT teams and EHR vendors for discovery, debugging and onboarding.
• Manage full lifecycle: design, deployment, monitoring, incident response, and iteration.
