Grundfos in Denmark seeks a Product Development Engineer to lead the advancement of pump and motor technologies for sustainable groundwater solutions, coordinating electrical, software, and digital domains.

You will drive system requirements, validate interfaces, and contribute to architecture decisions while fostering collaboration and growth in a diverse, inclusive culture.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a similar discipline.
Strong knowledge and practical experience with control systems and motor control software.
Proven experience with system integration across electrical, software, and communication domains.
Understanding of motor, drive, and controller interaction in pump or similar industrial applications.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end system integration of products across electrical, software, and digital domains.
Tune and optimize motor control software and controller behavior to meet system performance requirements.
Integrate and validate communication interfaces including GENI, powerline communication, and digital services.
Define and manage system requirements, interfaces, and dependencies between components across disciplines.
Drive system-level troubleshooting and root cause analysis, resolving integration issues across domains.
Contribute to architecture decisions and system design trade-offs balancing performance, cost, and reliability.

Your Main Responsibilities Include

Application experience within groundwater or submersible pump systems
