Ascendis Pharma is seeking a driven Product Owner for Product Supply IT, based in the Copenhagen area. You will shape the product direction, align business priorities, and work in a self-organizing team to deliver valuable outcomes for Product Supply.

Reporting to the People Leader, you will collaborate with global stakeholders, manage the backlog, and drive improvements across IT solutions in a regulated pharmaceutical environment.

Qualifications

We are seeking a driven Product Owner to join our team. As a member of Product Supply IT, you will shape product direction, align business priorities, and work as part of a self-organizing product team to create impactful outcomes for our Product Supply organization. You will be joining our Product Supply IT team based out of Copenhagen. Our aim is to further strengthen product thinking, collaboration, and ownership across the team. You will report to People Leader Babak Bajelan, and be based at our headquarters in Hellerup, Denmark.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Shape and communicate the product vision, roadmap, and priorities for Product Supply IT solutions.
• Work in a self-organizing product team, helping the team make informed decisions and deliver sustainable outcomes.
• Partner closely with business stakeholders to understand needs, align expectations, and maximize business value.
• Own and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring transparency, focus, and alignment with strategic objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement of product capabilities and ways of working across Product Supply IT.
• Participate in daily operations ensuring stable solutions and fast resolution of incidents and problems.
• Vendor management and responsible for vendors and contracts relevant to the products together with the team.

Qualifications and Skills:

You hold a relevant academic degree, preferably within Information Technology, Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field, and have several years of experience working as a Product Owner, Product Manager or in a similar role.

• Experience working with Agile product development and cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated ability to create alignment across stakeholders, facilitate collaboration, and empower teams to succeed.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience translating business needs into clear priorities and actionable outcomes.
• Understanding Product Supply, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, or ERP-related processes.
• Experience with Microsoft D365 FO (our ERP solution) is a plus, especially in a pharma context

To succeed in this role, we expect you to be a natural facilitator who enables your colleagues to succeed through collaboration, clarity, and shared ownership. You can navigate complex stakeholder landscapes, translate differing perspectives into clear priorities, and create trust across business and IT. Experience from the pharmaceutical industry, or another regulated environment is a plus.

Travel: 5-15 days per year.
